I love true story movies and We Are Marshall is such a touching movie about the unfortunate plane crash on November 14, 1970 in which 75 players, coaches, alumni, staff and fans perished in this terrible plane crash. After the plane crash takes the lives of most of Marshall Universitys football team, a new coach, played by Matthew McConaughey, must rally the surviving players and a grieving community to victory. This drama was based on actual events. Quite inspiring and, in one part, I truly gained even more respect for Bobby Bowden as he was the coach of West Virginia University at the time and really showed heart and sympathy in what Marshall was trying to do to put another football team on the field the following season. Id never noticed before, but Matthew McConaughey really has beautiful blue eyes. Watch this movie, if you get a chance. It will make you feel good.
