I love visits to what I call Facebook University. Like television at its best, Facebook can provide us with such an interesting and diverse community of people, willing to share knowledge and ideas. I learn things every day from the posts of my friends, and sometimes the threads and comments that follow these posts provide even more learning. Where Facebook excels is in the ability to join the conversation with people who know so much more about these diverging topics. Thank you all for being my colleagues in this journey of knowledge whether we are sharing cooking and gardening tips, household ideas, history, politics, religion and faith, or fun. I am a bit of a hermit. Chronic pain and depression will do that to people, but I feel I have a full world, even on my worst days, because all of you are in it. Some of you post such beautiful, meaningful, painful, fun, evocative things, and spawn discussions on matters of freedom or liturgical vestments, or English grammar, or a thousand thousand other topics. Briefly said (too late!) - I love you and am very grateful for all of you. xo
