I love what Im hearing at the Fl District Virtual Instruction Program Network conference. Its what I have always believed about education.... E-Pathways concept that students should be taught based on their level. If a 3rd grader can do 5th grade math he should be doing 5th grade math, not be stuck doing 3rd grade math bc hes in a 3rd grade class based on his age. Students need opportunities to learn using various methods. Traditional mixed level classrooms based on age and not ability (or even learning style) is not working. Glad to see districts are finally looking at more options for our students and their future.
