I love working on myself so much. This will have a different meaning to everyone, but for me its always meant making decisions that leave me feeling incredibly proud of myself. Ever since I was in first school, all throughout high school and still to this day. Ive held my morals, values and beliefs very close to my heart and never compromised them for anyone and anything. Despite being tempted to many times, I know that the feeling of not giving in is so much more fulfilling than the temptation itself. Do i tell people every time I make a decision or do something that I am proud of? Of course not, because Im not doing it for them, and I dont need their praise or acknowledge for it to be worthwhile. People will constantly enter and exit your life, sometimes it will be your choice and other times it will not, and so your happiness should depend on no one but yourself. Let other peoples presence or attention provide you with a secondary source of happiness, but not the source itself. Im so proud of the person I have become, even though ive still got a long way to go! I encourage all of you to do whatever it takes to nurture and respect yourself in all aspects of your life. It is defiantly the harder route to take but its only because the end result is far more worthwhile. Much love to you all!
