I love you As somebody who has lost too many people in life - TopicsExpress

I love you As somebody who has lost too many people in life unexpectedly, starting with my mom (when I was only seven), I learned at a very young age to ALWAYS say I love you to my friends/family every chance I get, especially during goodbyes. Sometimes Ill even call someone a few minutes after a goodbye just to say it again so they know I genuinely mean it. If were talking about Grams, Ive actually called her back three or four times, lol, to really make her feel special...and to annoy her a bit ;) I even do this to my guy friends, in fact, probably more often since Im with them most of the time. I always hug them after a hard workout together - its a special relationship/bond that is developed when you train together, sacrifice together, sweat together, bleed together, heal together, grow together. If that sounds gay, fine with me. If I were gay, I would wear it proudly. I dont know when each of you will be taken from me, or vice versa, no clue....BUT I do know, whenever that time comes, itll be much too soon, and itll likely be without warning, so I will continue to take every chance I get to tell my friends/family/brothers/sisters/strangers how much they mean to me. Yes, even a total stranger has my love - you either understand how and why, or you dont. Thats just how I roll; I live to love. The world needs more of it, MUCH MORE. Some people want to take all they can for themselves, be mega-popular and have as many fans/friends in the world as they can. Personally, I dont even have enough time for all the people Im lucky enough to already have in my life, so Im not wasting a single opportunity to express my appreciation for each and every one of them. Having said that, if I tell you I love you, its not an empty expression. I mean it. Sorry, didnt mean to ramble on and on, but this needed to be said... Love and light, my brothers and sisters, always... -LAKESTER
