I love you all and it means the world to Geoff and I that you are interested in purchasing his sea glass necklaces and his driftwood boats but I just want to say that NONE of them are currently for sale NOR will they ever be. In other words...the act of trading money for something that was crafted with love, care, patience and a deep reverence for nature by my sweet husband seems preposterous to me right now. Instead...I will either give them away or use them purely for the good of others. I would feel like a heel if I took money for Geoffs work.... There is a young lady in Hoopers Island who just lost her husband (a few days after I lost Geoff). She has two small children (5 and 7 I believe) and is currently expecting a third child. As soon as I can figure out where people get those raffle tickets printed up I am going to sell raffle tickets to benefit this young woman whom I dont even think I have met yet. Tickets will be $5 each or 6 for $20 and the winner will be drawn on the opening night of GoodLove. 100% of the money raised will go to this family. The winner will be able to pick the sea glass necklace of their choice from the locked display case. (With many sizes and shapes from which to choose.) I am hoping that Katie Phillips Kuneman will also sell the tickets at her store in Hoopers Island. I will be doing the same thing throughout the year (or maybe even years) to come...and I know Geoff would want it that way.
