"I love you", is the most deceitful words we utter daily. For if we love truly, as we claim, why do we fight? Why do we hate under flimsy pretext? Why do we find it hard to forgive? Why do we cheat on each other? Why do we lie to one another? Why do we take pleasure in running each other down? We do you always want to win every argument? Why do you stop loving, and jump to the next person? Why are we not patient with one another? Why do you always say it is the next persons fault? You are not perfect, why then do you demand for perfection? Why are you proclaiming love to several men and women, and you want some other person to love just you? Why do you get angry, and forsake a person just because they are unable to meet up with your material demands? Why do you insult, and call the next person names? Why do you beat her, or him up? The day we start loving truly: We shall be patient; We shall be tolerant; We shall be kind; We will stand by each other, not minding the odds; We shall be faithful, and honest; We will not cheat; We will not double, and triple date; We will not run and abandon each other, under the flimsiest excuses; We will be our brothers and sisters keeper; We will not shout and disgrace each other; We will not do things that will hurt the next person; We will concede defeat during arguments, that peace may reign; We shall not judge or condemn each other; We will not disgrace each other, because of our financial and material inadequacies; We will not run and abandon each other, most especially when we are most needed; We will love not only in words, but in deeds.
