I loved this behind-the-scenes reel with Oxygen magazine! Ive never been a skinny girl and it took a long time for me to accept parts of myself physically because I didnt look like the girl on a fashion magazine. Today, Im proud of how my body manifests through good nutrition and exercise - and so should you! I demonstrated my shoulder training in the magazine but heres some additional tips for you guys: 1. If you want to get rid of your arm fat (esp in triceps area), perform shoulder training. Not only does the shoulder help create the desirable cleft in your arm, but when you train shoulders - you simultaneously train your triceps also. 2. I try to hit every head of the deltoid (shoulder). I start with the shoulder press, then upright rows and side-front-back raises. 3. I perform a minimum of 3 sets of 8-15 reps. (the heavier the weight, the more muscle you will build). 4. Incorporate some balance training. I often stand on a bosu, kneel on a stability ball or stand on one foot while performing exercises. Not only does it help engage my central nervous system but it strengthens my core (Im always working abs!) 5. Train at least once a week. You dont need a gym but you need home weights that are heavy enough to create muscle fatigue.
