I m a hard core infantry guy. Always used to think that we r the one taking all the Shi.. I had that feeling that naval guys have best of time. From Bbay they come to Delhi with all that fd seniority for married accommodation and get undue advantage. Well all that changed after my joy ride on a ship. On Navy day we went to sea on INS Jalashav as part of their celebrations called A Day At Sea. It was a nice Sunday with calm sea and we boarded this monster. Belive u me, after spending couple of hours majority were sick. After about six hours or so being on the ship we were looking for land. Imagine these guys spending couple of months inside. Its boring and sickening. Atleast I always was able to walk around on high altitude and keep myself occupied, but it was really bad bad on board. May be I was not acclaimtised for it but believe you me, being on a ship for days is no cake walk. My Salute.
