I m not sure if this is the right post to ask a question. I am relatively new to baking and I baked a vanilla cake with tutty fruity today. this is the 2nd time that I experienced this that my cake didnt rise much and also it was too gooey in the center. To make it edible, I flipped the cake in the baking dish and baked again. I am not sure why it remains unbaked in the middle and bakes perfectly on the edges. I filled in a lot of air before baking it and baked it at 375 F for 30-35 mins.
