I`m not sure where I`ve been in past. I am not sure if I had been chained, or had babies for many times in my life, raising them in hunger and despair. I am not sure what happened to them nor if anybody ever had given me a hug or said a nice word to honor my loyalty. But I am sure my life has been unberable. Time has ran me over. I am weak and cannot fend for myself anymore. My body aches and I can no longer see respect in their eyes. You know, they used to look at me with admiration - I was big and handsome once... But now, they are digussed by the way I look. That is who I am now. Ramona. Marianne`s Dog Food Bank saw a plea for help for neglected ill German Shepherd. We went to the location immediatelly and there we found our Ramona. Old, neglected German Shepherd female, emaciated, burning in fever - at the end of her strenghts. We rushed to the vet for first aid. Ramona is in heat and has start of a skin disease. She is starved. Plan was to take her to our mini shelter Dawn`s Nest 1 for a sleep over, until we can arrange her transport to Sarajevo, where she would be admitted to Pension King. Ramona needs equipped vets and professional care during her recovery time. And she deserves nothing less than this. Upon arrival to Dawn`s Nest we met an old friend there, who has rescued several dogs in past, and at the first sight he just said: I will drive her right now!. This is how Ramona went to safety... We would like to thank Azra Rossi for driving us around all day and rescuing Ramona with us. To Jimmy for being at the location to help us. And million thanks to Nedib Halilagic who drove Ramona to King and donating towards her transportation cost. Immense gratitude goes once more to our wonderful members who made possible for Ramona to get new chance!
