I made Killer Ham and Bean soup in the Crockpot today 4 cups mixed beans (soaked overnight) 1 ham hock or ham pieces (your preference) 4 cans chicken broth 1cup celery (chopped) 1 cup shredded carrots 1 cup diced onions 6 sm vine tomatoes (diced) 1 Jaleno (diced) 1/4 cup cilantro 1 garlic bulb (minced) 1 TBSP crushed red pepper 1 TBSP pepper 1 TBSP garlic powder Throw everything into the Crockpot except the tomatoes on High for 5 hrs. On the 4th hour....add the tomatoes.... Dont forget to bake some cornbread....YUMMY
