I made a bit of progress on the Tricorder program today. I have the Arduino reading 4 sensors and sending the data to a PC using comma separated values. The data output on the screen is controlled by either a mouse click or a touch screen monitor. The program is written in the language Processing. I even added some wav files using the keyboard/computer sounds from Star Trek the original series, just for fun. Hopefully I will be able to port all of this over the the Raspberry Pi so it will be portable using battery power. Heh, maybe Ill call it the Pi-Corder.. Well once I figure out how to do data logging and add a bunch more sensors... Mwa ha ha!
