I made an old man and his wife cry in Dealz on Tuesday and Im glad. I saw his U.S. Navy hat, so I stopped him. I pointed to his hat and told him Thank you, God bless you, and welcome home, sir! as I shook his hand. Turns out he was in the Korean War, and nobody had said that to him when he returned from duty. Its been a lot of years, but correcting that wrong still meant a lot to them both. Ill be on the lookout for more vets on my travels. I may not be able to thank all of them, but itll be more than if I didnt try at all. If you enjoy living in America, THANK A VET TODAY!
