I make these little prep bowls to experiment with layering glazes. The back side is heavily textured with just iron oxide on it. Just pulled these out of the kiln. Three coats of Blue Rutile and then Coyote Red Gold along the rim. The way the glaze flowed made the most beautiful flower petals. Especially the one on the upper right... So Im keeping that one. 😜. These little prep bowls sell like hot cakes!!!
