I managed a session in the gym this morning, and was surprised - TopicsExpress

I managed a session in the gym this morning, and was surprised that i have not lost much strength despite fasting during this holy month. Have come into the council house to sort our casework, and vent my fury for jobs that I have logged weeks ago not yet sorted. A street column on Coleshill Road, drainage on Brockhurst Road, fly tipping in the Bromford Drive park, green waste strewn all over the ward, and rubbish on Wallbank Court which is releasing an obnoxious stench. Not sure why people have a tendency to dump crap next to recycling bins? They are recycling bins not dumping grounds. We spent a lot of money on revamping the Bromford Drive park & dont want it messed up by inconsiderate folk dumping their crap! I have Community First applications to submit to various groups situated in the Hodge Hill ward, and we are hoping to have a meeting next week to consider the applications already received. Glad to report that we have agreed a number of youth activities in and around the Ward End library so if you have young children please pop in to see whats on offer. The Summer Reading Challenge is back where kids have to read 6 books, and review them. I hear that there are lots of goodies on offer to those who complete them. I really do hope that we can all celebrate Eid together, and show unity in the face of the onslaught our brothers & sisters are facing in Gaza. I totally agree with the former PM John Prescott that Israel should be charged with war crimes & this bombardment must stop. Please remember the people of Palestine in your prayers.
