I marathoned all the shorts on the Puppetoons Movie Blu-Ray last night and this morning, and I was not disappointed! The cartoons never looked better! Even the standard def extra shorts looked nice (although I felt it was a missed opportunity)! My disc had two weird freeze ups during the John Henry segment, but everything else is fine, so its either a smudge or tiny scratch, or a rare hiccup on my players part. And theres a lot of supplemental goodies, including interviews with greats like Ray Harryhausen and Ward Kimball, and a documentary on the great George Pals work! Its a crime this set only has 3,000 copies released--if you can snatch this set up, DO IT OR YOULL REGRET IT FOREVER! Dont just settle for the DVD, because this rare upgrade is worth every penny!
