I may be on a post race high but these things cannot go unsaid - There are so many people to thank for the amazing two days I just had so pardon me if I get a bit gushy :) I was not expecting to laugh from start to finish! Retha Stroebel with your dirty mind and awesome attitude, Jenny Main and Paul Ketterer , you being at CP4 with the boys and Witold made my day! Mike Rivalland and Jane, thanks so much for spending your Saturday night carting my stuff all over the place and doing what I couldnt at the CPs to make me comfortable, to Tish Hayward Nee ORorke for generously lending us her car again, to all the people that sent me texts throughout the race encouraging me, to Nikki Han who always organises our transport to these things and inspires me with her outstanding ability. Extra special thanks goes to the two boys that made my race one of the most outstanding trail running experiences of my life - Mr Hardcore Stuart Barker and the crazy comeback kid, Dave Martin It should be illegal to have that much fun on a race like that. I wouldnt change a single second :) what happens on trail, stays on trail hahahaha!! A huge thanks as always goes to the incredible Nik Choi, who spent from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning driving around tending to my every need getting two hours sleep in the back of the car. Without him I would be in a heap on the floor at CP5. Also to all the people that sponsored me and have given generously to Parkinsons disease. Your support motivated me and your kindness touched me. My dad would be very upset if I didnt thank you from him. I encourage every one of you to get out on a trail and run your asses off. It is the most liberating and rewarding experience.
