I may get blasted for this, but......the last time I looked this was my page so here goes: Suicide is never the answer. I dont care how tough things get or how bad you think it is.....there is always tomorrow. Ive been through some very dark times.....most of these only my closest friends know about. I never looked at suicide as something that would solve my problems. I know Im only one person and I dont live other peoples lives.....but I will never understand what possesses people to do this.....ever. I am looking on Facebook at all of the memorials and kind words being said about Robin Williams.....I wonder if he could have seen those before he ended his life if it would have made a difference? I am saddened by his passing as I enjoyed his acting, but I dont believe it is something to be idolized per se. He chose to leave....how many people do you know who would give anything for just one more day on this earth? People who are sick and have no choice in the matter? I know of several children right now fighting life threatening illnesses who cling to life heroically. Whose parents have that permanent sadness to them even though they try to smile through it and think positive. I also revere our soldiers and what they do for our country every day. How selflessly they give their time and their lives. I respect their families immensely also. This may be neither here nor there, but I put folks like that on a pedestal....those with the courage to fight the curve balls that life throws at us all.....the real problems in life (disease, starvation, war, the fight for freedom, etc). Not the ones who give up and succumb to death willingly.....just my thoughts for the day. Please take them with a grain of salt......
