I may get crucified for this post but this has been bugging me for a while. This woman walks around shitty parts of NYC for 10 hours and those are the most harassing comments shes received? As a women, I think the word harassment has been used much too loosely. Being followed is one thing, but a guy saying hello or have a nice day being considered harassment is ridiculous. When I was 19 I was followed for 5 blocks (while walking alone at night, go figure) and then assaulted by a man when I wouldnt respond to his cat calls. My jaw was dislocated and he even knocked out one of my teeth. Luckily, the police immediately showed up and he was arrested on the spot. THAT is a situation that causes for a campaign, not someone telling me that they like my sweater. I feel videos like this one make women look overly sensitive and completely cause victims of ACTUAL harassment (like, the kind that leads to assault), less likely to be taken seriously.
