I may have posted this before but its worth repeating. Many of my FB friends are troubled, as I am, about the moral fabric of our country. We are unraveling, not because of this or that political party but because Americans in general are unable to distinguish between truth and falsehood, good and evil, the beautiful and the ugly. Is there any hope? I say yes. Do this thought experiment with me. If you could start 20,000 classical schools tomorrow --- there are about 20,000 public schools in America --- where the ideals of truth, goodness, and beauty were imbibed by 16 yr olds, in 20 years those 16 yr olds would be 36, just at the age where they would be poised to take positions of leadership in our nation. That could change the moral climate of our country radically.
