I may loose some friends or even Family over this......but its time for me to speak out. I Have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Its not just your Grandmothers type. I struggle with this Physically and emotionally EVER DAY. Some days are good, and some bad, and others......VERY BAD !I never feel 100% good anymore. I am not going to be able to go to every event that is held. I am not going to be able to take my kids to the park every time they ask. I am not going to able to go out and have fun for me. I am not going to be able to do household chores. I am not going to be able to drive my car. Not going to be able to go grocery shopping for my family......There will be numerous times I have to turn offers down, due to my health. There will be times I cant even take care of my own daily tasks.. NO, I dont like this either! However, I DID NOT ask for this to happen to me. If I could be better, Believe me, I would. I dont like this anymore than any of you. I dont feel as if I should apologize because Im sick, but sometimes others make me feel as if I should. I am still learning about my own disease.........there is more to it than arthritis pain. I have SEVERAL support groups here on FB and learn more everyday. I post things about my disease hoping you all will take a moment and read it. I am NOT seeking sympathy or attention. I just want my friends and family to try and understand what this is like for me. However, the ones who dont have it will never fully understand because they arent the ones living with it. I would NEVER ask any of you to walk in my shoes for a day. I take several pills a day. 7 just in the morning. I give myself injections, I go to the Doctor PRAYING that one of these days one of these meds. are going to make me feel better!! Do me a favor, do some research on this. It is not the easiest thing to deal with.
