I may not pray as often as I ought to, but I do pray and believe - TopicsExpress

I may not pray as often as I ought to, but I do pray and believe in its saving power. I have a list of family, friends, neighbors and my church, etc. that I pray for. Im posting this for a reason. This is for my friends whom I love dearly and miss them very much. I have been away from so many of them since I changed my life style and became born again. Nevertheless, they are my beloved friends. We have a past, a past full of love, experience, joy and sorrow. I pray in the morning to start my day and I pray at night to give thanks among other things. A dear friend of mine passed away a few days ago. I felt her loss deep within for many reasons. Morning and evening I pray for my friends who I use to hang with, even though i have not seen them in years. I follow them through FB, and messages. Genie Ree Gwin, and Farrah Jean Gwin are two along with others that I pray for daily. I am so programmed now, that I still mention Genie in my prayers (I forget that Genie is sleeping in Jesus) which stops me with tears. To Yvonne Fogleman, Sheri Fogelmen, John Leland Fogleman, Bernadette Attard Basler, Maggie Seagle, Denise Marie Stekert, Laura Marino, Diana Heckman, Ginger Cotter, and about six other dear friends, I love you! I will never stop praying for peace, happiness, good health, blessings and a genuine relationship with Jesus. My heart is heavy over the death of Genie, she was something special to anyone and everyone who knew her. Today I pray that each of us can find peace and happiness. We may not have all we want, and that is a good thing, but we do have what we need. We have friends and family who need us. We have food, housing and cloths. We have hope that there will come something better. We have each other. May God bless us mighty this day!
