I may support APGA adoption of President Goodluck Jonathan as its - TopicsExpress

I may support APGA adoption of President Goodluck Jonathan as its sole candidate at the national level, but this attitude of adopting governorship candidate of same PDP at the state level is quite uncalled for. APGA is an independent political party with its own views, principles and ideologies. Hence, must work very hard in ensuring its duely marketed to the electorate as a strong and viable alternative platform of governance. What are the reasons that the party can give for solely adopting Mr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as its sole gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State? I dont have anything against the PDP nor Mr Ifeanyi, but a situation where APGA as a structure is becoming too attached to another party for its political projects is totally saddening. It is projecting itself as a weakling. Does it mean that APGA do not have what it take to field a capable candidate to represent it for the Enugu state gubernatorial polls or that it lack the popularity? How do you gain popularity by always attaching yourself to others? Politics in Igbo land is loosing vibrancy everyday with the APGA style. APGA should work very hard to maintain its spread in and across Igbo land. It should project itself as a symbol and an ideal platform for political aspirations not a slave of another party. If things continue going this way, APGA might become none-existent in the next 6 six years.
