I mentioned a little while ago that my much beloved bungee chair had one of the bungee brackets break (which effectively removes 2 bungee supports due to how its constructed). While looking around online to (once again unsuccessfully) find replacements for that part, I realized that I could move one of the bungee parts from the back of the chair to the bottom. Then I realized that I could just replace ALL of the bungees on the bottom with the ones from the top. Obviously, the ass-supporting cords have a lot more wear on them than the back-supporting ones, so after an hour of work, I have a very supportive and comfortable chair again. The biggest pain is trying to screw down the bungees when theyre under tension. Could really have used an extra pair of hands, but I worked through it just fine. Very happy to be able to put off purchasing another chair for a little while.
