I mentioned in my post last night that my philosophies and directives exist on a more practical level than cults or religions. Why do I say this? The real point of philosophy is to make events more palatable. Philosophy exists to ease the minds of people, to bring them peace in times of trouble or strife. I choose not to link my philosophies to a religious base because... I am alright with God. I believe that there is great wisdom and stories to be found in the holy books that can help people. The problem is that once people give up their sense of reason, one of the great gifts of humanity, to a higher power that becomes the last answer. Arguments, debates, discussions, and conversations all too often fall into the realms of because the Bible says so and Gods will. Far too often it seems to me that Gods will gets in the way of reasonable people solving problems and putting aside issues. Gods will seems to cause a lot of problems. My words are not my attempt to express Gods will. My philosophies and the directives which will follow are simple, reasonable, and easy to understand. It is not filled with psychological mumbo jumbo or religious self insistence. Suggestions for clarification or better word usage are appreciated. The following text is of my creation.
