I mentioned on Facebook about a month ago that I was experiencing a slight health issue. To make a long story short, I was diagnosed in mid-August with a small brain tumor. All those who looked at the MRI locally believe it is benign. After waiting six weeks to get in I am (finally) going for a consultation today with Dr. Michael Chicoine, a neurosurgeon at Washington University Hospital. I am not scared, anxious or nervous, but instead Im positive, determined and optimistic. As I said before, I am a huge believer in the power of prayer and positive thinking.
