I mentioned the Sumerian civilization extensively (including information found tablets like the one pictured) in my book, "From Ancient Aliens to the Shift: The Grand Unified Theory". Following is an excerpt: “It can be difficult to put civilizations in chronological order since their timelines often overlapped, and because sometimes the traditions or religions of a particular society claim that their history actually goes back much further than acknowledged by mainstream historians and archaeologists. Keeping those caveats in mind, a good place to begin a discussion of historical hard evidence is the region of the Middle East drained by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and extending to the Mediterranean Sea. Known as the Fertile Crescent, it is said to be the birthplace of modern civilization, where agriculture, writing, and formal settlements originally arose. “The area’s first organized culture is generally recognized to be that of the Sumerians. In fact, the name of the first man in the Bible may have been adapted from the legend of Adamu. This civilization is also the first to report contact with otherworldly beings, the Anunnaki, whose name has been said to mean roughly “those who from the heavens came”. According to myths recorded on clay tablets that date from as far back as 4,000 B.C.E., these gods may have first come to earth over 400,000 years ago, mated with humans to create a slave race to mine gold for them, and appointed kings to act as intermediaries between the aliens and the rest of mankind. When humans became too numerous or disrespectful, natural disasters—including the flood later associated with the Biblical Noah—were orchestrated to keep numbers and attitudes in check.”
