I messed up this morning! I shared Christie Addingtons post and when I came home from work I realized her comments were not on my page!! I wrote WELL SAID which made it look like I agreed with this!! I do not agree...I was agreeing with Christie! This is what she said! I have lived here all my life and of course as a college student dreamed of leaving Ashland for good (didnt we all). However I couldnt imagine raising my children anywhere else. Its not perfect, but family is here. Ashland isnt perfect for crime but crime is low. Ashland isnt perfect but drug use is low(yes it really is lower than other places in the country) Ashland isnt perfect but values and morals are strong. Ashland isnt perfect but where else can u live where a traffic jam is only ten minutes long? Its not perfect but the school systems dont hire armed guards or drug dogs on a full time basis. Ashland isnt perfect but my children have teachers who care and want them to succeed. Its not perfect but where else can you find a community of strong churches-churches where people love the Lord and want what is best for others in the community? And finally Ashland isnt perfect but GOD is. He is sovereign and placed me here. I think Im going to see what his purpose is for me
