I messed up yesterday :( Sorry guys - I did not post the Scriptures that I am praying for everyone. I guess today you all get two :) - this was December 11, 2014 Scriptures that I am praying for all of us today: Verse of the day: So Isaiah told him, “Then listen to this, government of David! It’s bad enough that you make people tired with your pious, timid hypocrisies, but now you’re making God tired. So the Master is going to give you a sign anyway. Watch for this: A girl who is presently a virgin will get pregnant. She’ll bear a son and name him Immanuel (God-With-Us). By the time the child is twelve years old, able to make moral decisions, the threat of war will be over. Relax, those two kings that have you so worried will be out of the picture. But also be warned: God will bring on you and your people and your government a judgment worse than anything since the time the kingdom split, when Ephraim left Judah. The king of Assyria is coming!” ~ Isaiah 7:14 (The Message) We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. ~ Isaiah 53:6 Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah (pause, and calmly think of that). ~ Psalm 62:8 I wasnt going to send this one, didnt feel it went with the other Scriptures, but I feel impressed to Have you found (pleasure sweet like) honey? Eat only as much as is sufficient for you, lest, being filled with it, you vomit it. ~ Proverbs 25: Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care. Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.... ~ Psalm 95:6-8a Father God - I surrender ALL to You. You, alone, have the answers to the answers that I heart yearns to know and understand. I ask that You speak to each of these precious people, Your perfect will for our lives and like Your Word says in Isaiah 30:21 Whether we turn to the right or the left, our ears will hear Your voice saying, This is the way walk in it. So often we ignore what the Holy Spirit is trying to tell us b/c it is not what our flesh wants. Help us to trust in and lean on You with every decision we need to make today. Thank You, in advance, for hearing our prayers and convicting us of the areas that we so desperately need to change so that we can truly live a full life to Your glory.
