I met Robin Williams in the early 2000s in NYC at a vintage toy store. Told him I was moving to LA to do comedy. He was really encouraging. Made it easier for me to decide to make the move. Talked to him backstage at UCB a few times. Made a huge impact locally in the improv/comedy community by literally supporting it and being directly involved. Cant say that for most established performers, or most people in general about anything. Was always secretly pining for him to crash an improv show I was in. I guess I wont get my chance but really glad so many people did get the opportunity. Nanu Nanu, yall.
