He is a refugee from Eritrea whom we call Yonathan Habte to protect his identity. His story is truly heartbreaking. He was kidnapped by human traffickers in Sudan when he fled from Eritrea. They then sold him to Bedouin traffickers and he ended up in Egypts Sinai desert where he was tortured for ransom. His family paid the ransom, twice, but he lost the use of his hands due to the torture before he was freed.
