You know, the sad thing is that while Congress has the lowest approval rating in like forever, it does not translate to action locally. We keep sending the same guys back. Now this is true whether your congressman is a republican or a democrat. Vast majority just get sent back. They aint gonna change as long as most of em dont have to worry. Its like we are dumb enough to think it must be all them other congressmen. Our guy is just fine. CRAP. Then everyone is in favor of cutting spending. Until the specifics start being discussed and then whoa buddy I said we should cut spending but not that spending. We gots to have that ethanol subsidy (Iowa farmer) We need to have a tax subsidy to encourage Nat Gas use in big trucks (Oklahoma). If it wasnt pathetic it would be funny. Okies are against the ethanol subsidy (we dont grow that much corn here in OK) but in favor of any fed spending on Natural gas infrastructure. Simple process next election. When you go to the polls in the primary election, vote against the incumbent. If he still gets nominated for the general election, vote against him in the general election. If that means you have to vote for an idiot vote for the idiot. If congress is disapproved by 80some% of the the population why do we consistently send 80some% of em back. Don
