I met a friend in DC for breakfast. Cute little diner, something out of a 50s movie. The 70ish year old waitress clearly loves her job. I am wearing a Redskins sweatshirt on. She told me she likes my shirt and theres always next year. Thats what I keep telling myself she smiled and walked to the next table. On the wall there is a sign, American restaurant and proud of it! Of course all the cooks were speaking Spanish ;) Other signs on the walls included: if you dont like the way I do things, Buy me out! We promise friendly and courteous service at reasonable prices. If for any reason we fail to live up to this promise… Please dont tell anyone! Prices subject to change depending on customers attitude. What a fun place and the food was good too!
