I met a relative a couple of days ago.He had a 2009 Linea. Post 100,000kms the engine had a heart failure.After warranty period. FASS quoted a ridiculously high figure.This guy was regular in his service and the car was under single driver use.He did try all avenues possible to get the quote knocked down to a reasonable figure without success. So he has called it quits and booked a Duster. My question: Does the Multijet engine have such a short life span? Scares the s**t out of me because if I use this as a benchmark our Punto has crossed middle age.So probably my 1.9 will out live our Punto!
