I met someone who is on the dole who told me now has to attend voluntary work for thirty hours a week and ten hours a week supervised searching for jobs or his dole will be stopped. The company supervising him is G4S. He has a dedicated person overseeing his voluntary work and his job search. This begs two questions. One, if there is that much voluntary work available why not just give him a job getting paid doing what he is doing. Two. We, as tax payers are paying the man dole PLUS paying someone at G4S to supervise the so called drain on the public purse. I dont believe for one minute that the supervisor is on the minimum wage and I dont believe either that God havent got a substantial mark update on their employees. Now it may not be right that people expect to sit on the dole and do nothing but what is certainly worse is public money being used in such a corrupt manner.
