I met this man Joshua Key, he is a good man, seriously damaged by the American Government of the time, and the Iraq War. He deserted the war in one of his returns home and immigrated to Canada. I remember him telling me personally and describing in detail... that he seen his crew in the war kicking around Iraqi childrens heads like soccer balls and laughing after a fight, or an M16 round (American issue) blowing up a child head that came to ask for food. America would not recognize that he was facing serious mental health issues like PTSD. If the Harper Conservative government intently chooses to deport this man back to America, refuse asylum, where he faces a serious life sentence for deserting the American military in an unfounded bullshit war, especially when he is being denied basic human rights; I will take this personally & not forget this. If Canada were to conscript me into an unjust war like that, I would consider it a prison sentence, dont care where they put me. What did the Iraq war do for America, for its people?
