I ministered once in CPAR4JESUS. One of the points I emphasized in the topic GIFTS and PROMISES is that, yes its true that Gods plan is to prosper us. That he will give us hope and future (Jeremiah 29:11). But you know, the promise is only for those who personally received/heard the promise. And how can we personally receive Gods promise? By reading the bible. If you are not reading your bible, you cannot claim Gods promise. Because you are not one of those whom God has given His promise. (Sa tagalog pa, nahihirapan ako mag-English eh, walang liability sayo si Lord dahil hindi ka naman personal na nakarinig ng promise Niya. Kumbaga sinabihan ka lang ng kaibigan mong nakapagbasa ng Bible. Paborito kasing verse ng mga magboboard exam ang Jer. 29:11. Eh kung ganun, sa kaibigan mo ka maningil. Haha. Siya ang may obligation sayo.) Lesson, read your bible and pray. In your prayers, claim that you already received it.
