I miss my campsite where everyone had a happy face. Every camper - TopicsExpress

I miss my campsite where everyone had a happy face. Every camper waved at me as I passed. I feel my Poppops presence every time I chop a log or wave and smile at a passing stranger. I feel the fraternity of camping and I love it. Im learning that I am no longer a small town boy, and Im certainly not a city boy. I am in my element in a place where we al look out for each other, my boys saved a girls dog, every person I met this weekend was a complete sweetheart or a solid dude. Im so over this small town mentality and the nitpicking that comes with it, and politics. I wont dance for anyone, which is part o the reason I am not into local politics, and I am no longer employed at a company I enjoyed, and kids I loved. I march to the beat of my own drum and Im not ashamed. My dad taught me well, I camp to be near my Grandpa and to carry on a lifelong love my DAD taught me. Anyone that wants to share some drama free good times, I own a permanent site in Red Ridge Lake and I will be staying there as often as physically possible this summer. I have no more patience for the bs of small town drama. I would rather be left alone, and be camping where I feel I belong. Be happy everyone, however that works out for you.
