I miss my family. And Im not referring to my immediate family, like my husband and children or Murphy Rae. I still get to see them a lot. But I miss the family I used to have more time for. Like my sister Lin Reynolds and my brothers-in-law, Nick Hopkins and Jerry Reynolds and my niece, Sara Jane, and my cousins Brian McDaniel, Jennifer Stephens McDaniel and Amanda Lowe and Dead Kevin Lowe and Kassie Robertson and Jake and Tommy and Exie Simpson and Hannah Simpson and all of my cousins kids, and my granny, Vannoy Gentles Kirkpatrick and my aunts Michele Gentles McDaniel and Jean Ann Fennell and my uncles Jack Simpson and Jesse McDaniel. All the people I bailed on last year when I was supposed to be hosting Christmas at my house. All the people I cancelled on for Easter. All the people Im going to cook a huge meal for and spend the day with in October when Im caught up on deadlines and I invite them all over to make up for the last two years. I might even make Oreo balls. Thats how much I miss yall.
