I moved so much that, when I graduated high school, I had already - TopicsExpress

I moved so much that, when I graduated high school, I had already lived in 28 houses and gone to 14 schools. By the time high school hit, I spent two years at Calhi, in Whittier, then two at Shelton High, where I graduated. My mom lived in Washington, and my dad lived in California, but I lived my senior year as a foster child, so I could finish school. Going back and forth, I have spent an equal amount of my years in both places. I was married there, with a husband for 11 years (although we were only married 5). I had my daughter there, and memories come back, making me want to move there again, at times. But geography doesnt necessarily change a financial situation, or make you happy. It just gives you a fresh start. I have always adapted, and been able to exist in my surroundings, but have never felt like I belonged here on the planet. lol... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare, plainly, that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of the country they just came out of, they might have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better country, that is a heavenly country: where God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he hath prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:13-16. If you are always searching for a better place, thinking that will make everything ok, maybe you, too, really have your sight set on a heavenly country!!
