I must admit I was hesitant about moving because I didnt want to take my son Dikembe out of his school, away from his friends, and especially away from his second family, the Westover Marching Patriots!!! He has had a really hard time adjusting, has even asked several times could we move back home. Its wonderful to know that a school and his teachers and peers made such a wonderful impact on my son. So to Mr. Scanling, The whole Westover Marching Patriots Band, The Booster club, especially Mrs. Amy Mckenzie Cox, and two special young men who embraced my son and took him under their wings and bent over backwards to teach my son everything it is to know about playing the drums, Buford Callog, and Jaren West. Thank you all so much for everything and I want you all to know if you would have seen Dikembe performing today in the parade up here yall wouldve been proud. We miss yall dearly. So heres a lil video if Dikembe performing with his new school band. The Morrow High Marching Mustangs!!!
