I must be around 10 years old when i went to live in a beautiful british cottage at the top of a mountain right next to the army cantt. Even then i was very much fascinated with the army.. I remember how i wanderd around, the ceilings were high .. The windows and doors were painted bottle green and brown ,rugs everywhere, red quilts, old paintings, lots of books and a big piano! In the morning, the whole town would be floating in clouds.. I could see the cloud infront of me, but as i moved to it.. It would vanish.. We took a walk to the supermarket.. I saw ruskin bond there.. Buying a big loaf of cheese, talking to his other buddies.. He patted my head when he saw me staring him.. I didnt know who he was back then.. A jolly old fellow he is.. Ive always wanted to go back to that cottage, it was so homely..the pizza i had at devdar woods, by far the best pizza and cheese i have ever tasted in india! The tall deodar trees hovering above.. The memories of Landour .
