I must give a big shout out to the Gilford Lowes.... I went this past weekend and bought a new Fridge & Stove. They delivered this morning...only to find out that because of my stupid old house & the set up the fridge would NOT make it up the stairs!!! (and YES, I looked at the dimensions beforehand and if not for the stupid pivot in my stair case which I never thought of, that sucker would have fit!) So, sadly, back on the truck it went along with my old, busted fridge. I was stressing out about it when I got the call because I was already at my office and was stuck here all day. And tomorrow I am headed out of town for my LILI class and not coming back until Saturday or Sunday...so trying to figure out HOW I was going to get to over there and pick out something else that WOULD fit was near impossible and I was afraid wed be without a fridge until next week! Well, Dick called me from Lowes. He had talked to the delivery guys, got the dimensions and found me another fridge similar to the model I wanted. While we were on the phone, he gave me the item number so I could look it up online and check it out and make sure itd be something Id be happy with. And? Although it was more expensive, they gave me the floor model (in mint condition), knocked a bunch of money off of it because it was the floor model, AND arranged so it could be delivered TODAY...and they just delivered it! Everyone was helpful, kind and great to work with. So yeah...that kind of customer service deserves a shout out. Thank you Gilford Lowes!
