I must protest the racial discrimination happening in Coast. There si nothing as dangerous as racial profiling or religious profiling. In as much as any sane person will not condone terrorism, the same does not give the police the right to raid mosques and bundle anyone with Somali like looks and professes the Islamic faith. Any form of religious extremism is terrorism in itself. One MUST respect others religious beliefs and only on the grounds of sufficient evidence should one be forced to lie on the streets at the danger of being shot by the very police we hope will protect us. Indeed at this rate after all Muslims are killed then Christians with Islamic names may actually be the next targets. The Constitution provisions for all persons the right of innocence until proven guilty and it is under the same grounds that Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto were allowed to be the President and Deputy of this country. This form of selective application of the law even when threatened by terrorists should not drag us down to their level. We are no more different that America they are fighting for by these terrorist acts, the government gets to take away certain civil liberties from the people in the name of National Security. Friends today it may be the Muslim youths of the coast, tomorrow it may as well be you. I love this story, a rat saw a trap and went to the chicken, goat and cow for help but they said that is a rat problem. Few weeks later the wife of the farmer was bitten by a snake and she fell ill, the chicken was killed to make her soup but her condition deteriorated, the goat was killed to feed the guests coming to see her, she later passed on and yeah, the cow was killed to feed the mourners-the rat survived. They came for Islamic youths some innocent and Christians are all about trashing them on social media calling them Al-Shaabab and all manners of condemnation-next they will come for you and I hope someone will be there for you. We must together condemn the extra judicial killings, racial profiling, religious profiling by the police at the Coast. Islam is a religion of peace to those that understand it and not all Muslims are Al-Shaabab, most actually condemn all forms of extremism in the name of religion. And no, am not a Muslim.
