I must reiterate, other than the occasional sharing of an article or two, I do apologize for the lack of updates as well as the lack of forecasts. With my busy schedule, as a college student working 2 part-time jobs it is really difficult to find any free time. Ill try my best though. With fall having already officially arrived, we can expect the coolest (or coldest?) air of the season this weekend with the passage of a cold front. Lows Sunday morning could bottom out as low as the low-mid 30s in western portions of the state (frost possible?) and in the valley, and low-mid 40s elsewhere across the state. As the trough regresses, we will experience another warmup as we head into the early parts of next week. Best chance of rain for the next 7 days looks to be on Saturday out ahead of the cold front that will usher in cooler air. There could even be a few thunderstorms out ahead of it. Otherwise, rain chances remain few and far between, however if you are in SW VA there is a decent chance as we head into Tuesday, elsewhere, throughout all of next week we can expect a consistently slim shower chance. That glorified white-glistening season otherwise known as winter, is beginning to display its first signals.
