I must say, I am tired of this constant defeatist refrain that I heard again today from someone talking on behalf of Olivia Chow and that I hear all the time from progressives and liberals running for any level of office. The refrain that they are willing to work with everyone across the political spectrum. Really? Why? Corporations and the right are not willing to work with you! If you are willing to work with right wing politicians and corporations you will only do so on their terms. I am UNWILLING to work with everyone across the political spectrum and proud to be. I am UNWILLING to work with corporations and right wing politicians like John Tory. I would never accept the endorsement of or work with Tories, right wingers or their organizers There is still very much a class war in our country. The working class is losing. Collaborating with the right and ruling class will get us nowhere. It is time to demand and fight for a better society. And when we do we will have to confront and oppose corporations and the right and its politicians to achieve it. The people have NEVER won anything by working with corporations and the right and they never will. Be unwilling to work with them. That is how we will achieve real change.
