I must say that I do not like a box of chocolates per se, - TopicsExpress

I must say that I do not like a box of chocolates per se, especially if its the #darkchocolate but they say that is what life is about, a box of chocolates. Ha! Does chocolate last for 125 years? I was reading #AliceWalker Anything We Love Can Be Saved Her great-great-great-great-grandmother #MayPoole was stated to have died at the age of 125! To compare May Pooles life to a box of chocolate when she lived enslaved for over three-quarters of a century is insane because I can only imagine me in that lifetime under those circumstances, BuT I cannot imagine me eating a box of dark chocolate and enjoying it. One can only be filled with joy and peace of mind and being to withstand and witness the lives lived in those times. She outlived most of her masters! Alice Walker shars that her grandmother was THE first person of acknowledgement for her belief in activism. Alice Walker, subtitled #AnythingWeLoveCanBeSaved , A writers activism... Like she had to purposefully write this book because the people and stories she shares on the ones that activated her motivations. I for one love to know the Why? Behind certain decisions and sustainability. Yea, life is about our stories shared to uplift, unbound, bring awareness, and activate and initiate the goodness thats embedded in all things. Anyhoo, my correlation to life and all the information aforementioned, simple implies that Life is too unpredictable and precious to be compared to a box of chocolate that will melt in the hottest of temperature. Life if compared to something of #simplepleasure can be compared to the diamond that withstands all temperatures and eventually shines in the process of pressure. It is not what happens to you, its your attitude during and after the happening that will define what your life is all about; it will define who you really are or strive to be.
