I must share what is on my heart tonight- a fb friend- whom I have never actually met in person but we have bonded through the loss of a child here on fb, lost a son a year or so after I lost mine--she shared with me tonight in a personal message that her heart was broken because good Christian people from her church implied to her it was time to move on with her life...well let me say that until you walk the path of burying a child, which includes identifying him in the morgue, meeting with the funeral directors, picking out a casket, discussing with your pastor the message you want to be shared about his or her life, the torment of pulling up pictures of his or her life to be placed at the funeral service, the strength you must display to his or her siblings and all of his or her friends as they as young people try to process grief, the decision as to who will be the pall bearers, the torment of receving all of the well meaning people that are grieving with you because they love you and your child and are desperating want to comfort you, you however, must endure hours upon hours of tears, weeping moments, gut wrenching conversations,---and my list could go on and on---please people-keep your self righteous opinions to yourself- until you have walked away in a grassy cemetery from a casket being closed and lowered with your child in it, until you are whisked away in a limo so that you dont make a spectacle of yourself...you have no right to judge, share an opinion, give advice....just simple love, honor and treasure that person...think of David in the Old Testament....when his first son died he ripped his clothing, rolled in dirt and pleaded with God to take away his pain...I have even expereinced this pain with my own mother in 2001....death is final....and it hurts like hell...now we all know that those we love pass on to perfect paradise and peace but we as humans still here on earth and are left here to deal with their loss...which never goes away....so NEVER EVER tell someone who has lost someone that they love dearly and deeply that Its time to move on....only God has the strength and that ability to give that to them---and when you imply or say that to someone you think it is time to move on you are thinking your are more knowledgable that Christ Himself...wow...what a self-righteous and self absorbed person you must be...I pity you-for you missing one of the greatest gifts God has blessed us with as humans---compassion...love in Christ to all-cbk
