I must toot our own horn so to speak. We are a true no kill rescue ; there truly arent many of us. These precious babies along with their siblings were sickly as kittens and tested positive for FIV. Most shelters / rescues instantly euthanize with that diagnosis, but we never considered that. We spent lots on vet care and had them in an amazing foster home(Thanks Amanda Walz). As they got older and stronger we had them fixed and retested and(as can be the case) this time they tested NEGATIVE. Now dont get me wrong, even had they tested positive again they would still have been safe with us as long as they had quality of life. I(we) believe life is a gift and because of that these babies are alive, healthy and waiting to be adopted. proverbs1210rescue.org
